Design & Technology Teacher - Secondary School - September Start

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for permanent)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

You will be teaching Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The department is well-resourced, with a strong focus on delivering practical, creative, and engaging lessons that inspire students to develop their technical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
  • Be a qualified DT teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

  • Have experience teaching DT to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

  • Be confident delivering across a range of specialisms such as Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design or Engineering

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
