Aspire People is seeking an enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher for a well-regarded secondary school in Milton Keynes. Deliver engaging lessons across Design Technology, including Product Design, Graphics and Food Technology, and inspire practical, creative learning.

The ideal candidate will have QTS or equivalent, strong subject knowledge, and a passion for helping every learner reach their potential within a collaborative department.

Qualifications

• Has qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Design Technology in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge in Product Design, Graphics, Food Technology or related areas.
• Passionate about practical and creative education.
• High expectations of students and commitment to helping every learner achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teach across Product Design, Graphics and/or Food Technology as required.
• Develop students' practical, creative and problem-solving skills.
• Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Support students in developing confidence with materials, tools and techniques.
• Assess and monitor student progress effectively.
• Contribute positively to the Design Technology department and school community.
