PK Education is working with a forward-thinking secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a dynamic Teacher of Technology for a full-time role starting in September 2025.

We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging lessons across Food, Textiles, and Design Technology (with a focus on Resistant Materials) at Key Stage 3, with the ability to teach Food at Key Stage 4 considered a strong advantage.

Role: Teacher of Technology (Food, Textiles & Resistant Materials)

Key Stages: KS3 compulsory; KS4 Food desirable

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-time; fixed term for Autumn 2025, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate

Location: Nottingham

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching across Food, Textiles, and Resistant Materials at KS3

Confidence and experience teaching Food at KS4 is desirable

Passion for practical, creative teaching and strong classroom management
