Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Design & Technology in a secondary school setting.
• Confident teaching areas such as Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Strong classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inspiring DT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Teach practical and theory‑based elements of the Design & Technology curriculum.
• Encourage creativity, innovation and problem‑solving skills.
• Support students in achieving their academic potential whilst developing practical skills.

• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress effectively.
