Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate Construction and Design Technology Teacher to support secondary schools and academies across Rotherham, starting September 2026. This full-time role offers daily pay scales from day one and involves delivering DT/Construction lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.

You will foster a safe workshop environment, plan creative lessons, and support student achievement. A UK QTS and an enhanced DBS are required to apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent secondary teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Design Technology or Construction in a UK secondary setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student safety in workshop environments.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
