Role: Design Technology Teacher

Location: High achieving secondary school in Salford, Greater Manchester

Responsibilities include:

1. Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to all students, ensuring progress and attainment.
2. Teaching a range of design technology subjects, including Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, and Electronics.
3. Inspiring students to explore and develop their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and technical skills.
4. Providing a safe, inclusive learning environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
5. Assessing and monitoring students’ progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their academic and personal development.
6. Collaborating with colleagues to develop the curriculum, schemes of work, and teaching resources.
7. Contributing to extracurricular activities and school events such as design competitions and workshops.
8. Building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning community.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, innovative, and dedicated, with excellent subject knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate students. A background in design technology or engineering, along with teaching experience, is essential.
