Job Advertisement: Design and Technology Teacher (Full-Time)

Location: Wallasey
Start Date: 22nd April 2025 (After Easter Holidays)
Contract: Full-Time, Rolling with Potential to Become Permanent
Salary: £150 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Wallasey, starting from the 22nd April 2025, after the Easter holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a real impact on students' lives, encouraging their creativity and practical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and inspiring Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Planning, preparing, and assessing students' work in line with the school's curriculum.
  • Promoting the development of students' problem-solving, creativity, and technical skills.
  • Managing classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of teaching Design and Technology at secondary school level.
  • Passion for inspiring students and fostering their development in the subject.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic school environment.

This is a full-time, rolling contract with the potential to become permanent, based on performance and the needs of the school. The daily rate will range from £150 - £200, depending on experience and qualifications.
