Prospero Teaching are looking for a Design Technology Teacher to join an Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school. The school has six forms and students wear uniforms.

The school is based in Enfield, North London, which is an Outer London school. Onsite parking is available.

This Design Technology teaching position begins in September 2024 and is a full-time role. The department aims to meet the demands of the National Curriculum for Design & Technology, and the school is always seeking teachers who wish to grow and develop professionally.

THE DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER JOB:

• Full-time Design Technology teaching position
• Starting ideally in September 2024
• Teaching Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and possibly Key Stage 5
• Design Technology is taught following AQA specifications
• This is a mainstream, Ofsted Outstanding secondary school
• The Design Technology department is well resourced
• Full-time (5 days a week), including planning and marking
• Onsite parking and good public transport links

ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TEACHER:

• Qualified Design Technology teacher – UK or Overseas qualifications accepted
• Ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent
• Ability to manage students of varying abilities and differentiate lessons accordingly
• Proactive and innovative, capable of engaging students in diverse ways
• Team player

CONTRACT DETAILS:

• Location – Enfield
• Position – Full-Time Design Technology Teacher
• Type of work – Teaching Design Technology in a secondary school
• Contract type – Temporary with a view to permanent after 12 weeks
• Pay rate – £177-262 per day, depending on experience and scale
