About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Design & Technology Teacher to join our school on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire and motivate students across KS3 and KS4 in a well-resourced DT department.

ECTs are welcome to apply — we offer excellent support and mentoring to help you develop in your teaching career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative DT lessons that challenge and inspire
  • Teach across Key Stage 3 (and KS4 where appropriate)
  • Encourage innovation, problem-solving, and independent thinking
  • Monitor, assess, and report on student progress
  • Contribute to the wider life of the DT department and school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) — ECTs welcome
Passion for Design & Technology and hands-on learning
Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
