Location: Ashington

Salary: GBP150.87 - GBP223.36 per day

An Good secondary school in Ashington is looking for a Design Technology Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. The head teacher would like to hear from candidates that are driven and have a proven track record of securing successful outcomes and attainment. The main duties will include:

  • Planning, teaching, and assessing the DT curriculum
  • Ordering resources and materials
  • Following the school behaviour management policy effectively
  • Promoting independence
  • Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teaching Status
  • Have a degree in the subject area
  • Be passionate about their subject area
  • Be proactive, energetic, kind, and caring
  • Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to go through the process with ourselves)
  • Provide a full checkable work history
