Teaching Personnel is pleased to support a well-established secondary school in Ashford, Kent with the recruitment of a passionate and skilled Design & Technology Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in practical and theoretical aspects of design, engineering, and technology.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging Design & Technology lessons that develop students’ creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical knowledge.
Plan and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Teach practical skills alongside theoretical concepts in design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop environment.
Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities related to Design & Technology.
Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with UK QTS is essential.
Degree or relevant qualification in Design & Technology, Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
Experience teaching Design & Technology at secondary level.
Strong classroom and workshop management skills.
A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
