Are you passionate about food and education? Do you thrive in a dynamic classroom environment and want to inspire young minds? We are seeking a dedicated, positive, and professional DT Food Technician to join a vibrant Design & Technology department, teaching students at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver inspiring lessons in Food Technology across KS3 and KS4
  • Use school-wide procedures for assessment and marking to track student progress effectively
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-organised learning environment
  • Support students in developing technical skills, confidence, and a passion for food and nutrition
  • Contribute to the wider DT team and school community with professionalism and enthusiasm
What We're Looking For
  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in teaching Food Technology at secondary level
  • A genuine passion for food education and student development
  • Strong organisational skills and a commitment to high standards
  • A team player with a positive outlook and excellent communication skills
  • Experience with or willingness to follow whole-school marking and assessment procedures
