Job description

The DTE Technician is responsible for providing a safe and inspiring learning environment for the pupils. The role involves advising pupils and assisting them, preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring resources for lessons are laid out and made available. Any afternoon work will involve helping in our extra-curricular clubs, advising, and giving practical guidance whilst ensuring a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have a good general education and CAD skills would be an advantage. They will have demonstrable experience of undertaking a range of design-related tasks and a passion for using technology to create objects using a variety of mediums, with the ability to motivate and inspire pupils to develop their creative skills.

The Environment
Working Conditions

Full time, term time only, 33 weeks per year. Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00. Salary: The actual salary for this term time only role will be £24,139.
