Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS1 (ECT Scale)

DT ECT required for a progressive secondary school with excellent workshop facilities.
Deliver Design Technology lessons including resistant materials, CAD/CAM, and product design.
Support project-based learning and practical skills development.

We are seeking a talented and motivated Design & Technology ECT to join an enthusiastic and forward-thinking department in Bournemouth. This is a unique chance to develop practical teaching skills in a supportive environment with access to advanced machinery and software.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Degree in Design Technology, Product Design, or Engineering

  • PGCE or SCITT leading to QTS by July 2025

  • Passionate about hands-on learning and inspiring creativity

  • Familiarity with tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and CAD software desirable

  • Legal eligibility to work in the UK
