Design Technology (DT) Teacher / Design Technology (DT) ECT

In the heart of Barnet, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is seeking a Design Technology (DT) Teacher / Design Technology (DT) ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Design Technology (DT) Teacher / Design Technology (DT) ECT eager to contribute to an expanding DT Department. The school is known for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school invests heavily in education, pioneering new teaching practices and training staff. It's an exciting time to join!

Experienced DT Teachers can take on roles such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities, and more. Newly Qualified DT Teachers (ECT) will participate in a bespoke ECT induction program and collaborate with both new and experienced DT Teachers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
  • Ability to work within a large team of DT Teachers
  • Open to feedback and professional development
