To provide first class support to the wider internal Hadley Technical Team and external stakeholders, both written and verbal relating to the full Hadley suite of products.

Day to day owner of the internal specifications sign off process, and architectural detailing suite, providing clear, technically accurate and timely responses to all requests.

To become a key component of the technical support function for Hadley Construction Technology, products and systems, supporting the Group’s development of business in this key market sector.

THE ROLE

  • Own the specification approval process ensuring proactive sign off turnarounds are achieved.
  • Promote and sharing knowledge related to the Hadley Group Construction Systems with both the wider team and the Group as a whole.
  • Build and Create a comprehensive drawing directory which is always live and technically accurate.
  • Assist the Technology Development Manager and the wider HCT team on key objectives and projects.
  • Build and Maintain both industry and competitor knowledge.
  • Assist in the testing regime to ensure Hadley system offerings have complete technical substantiation that is fit for purpose for both the market and Hadley Group.
  • Assist with the control and management of system test data.
  • Lead the provision of technical/consultation support to all the sales team as directed.
  • Assist in the management, storage and control of project pack, specification templates, consultation reports and other critical project design data.
  • Identify opportunities for and carry out product development within the market sector.
  • Via the technical support workspace establish productive, professional relationships with key internal (external where required) personnel across the levels of the hierarchy to ensure maximum customer integration and information flow.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
  • Support marketing of technical data (website content, brochures, seminars, trade shows etc…)
  • Keep abreast of competitors technical offerings, and benchmark best practice.
  • Any other duties within the capability of the job holder.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Areas: Within the UK & International group sites as required.

Full UK Driving License is required, with any offences declared to the company.

THE CANDIDATE

Education and Qualifications:

  • Part 1 Architectural Degree or
  • Suitable career experience in architectural or structural design

Experience

  • Excellent understanding architectural drawings.
  • Both 2D and 3D AutoCAD experience.
  • Tekla and/or Revit Experience.
  • System Testing experience (advantage)
  • Analytical skills and technical problem solving.
