Where will you be working?

At M Group Highways, we support the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s leading highway maintenance contractor. Our teams use the latest innovations to develop effective solutions. We offer a range of services, including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?

  • You will assist in developing highway designs for maintenance and improvement schemes
  • If you have experience using AutoCAD, you will use it to produce design drawings
  • You will assist in producing specifications, Bill of Quantities, H&S, and Environmental documents as part of a design package
  • If you enjoy working in a team, you will do site visits, surveys, and investigations with colleagues
  • You will ensure work complies with QSE standards and processes
  • You will collaborate with colleagues to understand and develop project objectives
  • You will assist in producing technical reports
  • You will help with general office activities
Skills required
  • Awareness of Health & Safety & Environment in design and construction
  • Awareness of AutoCAD
  • A clean UK/EEC driving license
    Transferable work experience skills from other industries are also valued
