Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Neath to recruit a dedicated Design Technology Teacher for an immediate start. You will plan and deliver engaging DT lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5 to pupils of varying abilities while maintaining high standards of behaviour and safety.

The role begins as a temporary position with the potential to become long-term or permanent for the right candidate. QTS is required and ECTs/NQTs are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• QTS is required; ECTs/NQTs welcome to apply.
• Experience teaching Design Technology across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the DT curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, practical Design Technology lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Cater to students of varying abilities while maintaining high expectations and excellent classroom management.
• Deliver creative, engaging and practical lessons with a positive, adaptable approach.
