Chase UK is seeking a Lead Designer - Design Systems to shape and grow our design system across products. You will help define components, patterns, and guidelines that scale as the business expands.

You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to drive DS adoption and maintain accessibility, while delivering delightful, inclusive user experiences in a fintech context.

Qualifications

• Previous Design System design experience with contributions to DS deliverables.
• Strong portfolio showing components, patterns, docs and guidelines.
• Ability to think in systems-level design and usability best practices.
• Knowledge of accessibility requirements and implementation with teams.
• Experience in mobile or responsive web design.
• Proficiency with DS tools like Figma, Token Studio, Supernova.

• Develop and maintain our design system for consistency and scalability.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate needs into DS solutions.
• Drive the evolution of the design system and its components.
• Influence priorities and champion customer-centric design and high standards.
• Lead design reviews and provide feedback to ensure alignment with principles.
• Stay current with industry trends and share knowledge across the team.
• Leverage insights to inform components and patterns.
• Promote DS adoption across the organisation and across disciplines.
