Are you excited about designing the next generation of Amazon FCs in the region? Do you want to contribute to the ongoing expansion and optimization of Amazon’s ultra-fast fulfillment network? Amazon is seeking a skilled candidate with a strong track record in warehouse layout design to develop optimized, high-efficiency site layouts. The layout designer will be responsible for creating layout blueprints, collaborating with 3PL partners and internal stakeholders to ensure layouts meet business needs while optimizing space utilization and operational efficiency. Strong collaboration, analytical skills, and proficiency in CAD tools are essential for success in this role.

Key job responsibilities

1. Design layouts using AutoCAD, REVIT, or other CAD programs.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish design and expansion criteria.
3. Review and approve layout plans to ensure alignment with business needs, space utilization targets, and CBM optimization.
4. Identify value engineering opportunities and optimize existing designs.
5. Align cross-functional teams on design standards, best practices, and implementation guidelines.
6. Communicate, present, and document technical drawings and documents effectively.
7. Travel up to 25% of the time as required.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related industrial and operations field.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, REVIT, or similar CAD software.
• Ability to handle ambiguity, conduct data analysis, and demonstrate analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing darkstores or grocery stores.
• Previous experience in warehouse optimization projects.
