Job Description:

We're looking for a Design Services Engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence, ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Contribute to building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, including technical specifications
• Provide technical oversight on new product or service ideas and design plans
• Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards like TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Experience in designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings. Aspiring to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on Traffic Signal Design solutions.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Understanding of MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
