Job summary

SES Engineering Services is seeking a Design Manager to lead the mechanical and electrical design on high-profile, technically complex projects across multiple sectors, based in the North East team with travel as needed.

You will drive the design programme, collaborate with industry specialists and in-house experts to ensure the design aligns with the brief, adds value, remains compliant, and supports construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage a realistic design programme to facilitate design, procurement and construction activities.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and innovation.
• Review and verify the design to meet compliance and mitigate health and safety, buildability risks at each stage.
