Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the multi-layered BoM structure and associated data across the engineering department.
  • Define annual Skeleton BoM in collaboration with senior engineering leadership.
  • Drive the evolution of PLM systems (preferably Enovia/CATIA 3DX).
  • Create and maintain configuration data for event-specific BoMs.
  • Develop, document, and uphold design release standards and workflows.
  • Maintain the proprietary parts catalogue and ensure accuracy across releases.
  • Liaise with manufacturing, quality, and production to ensure seamless integration from design to track.
  • Develop and enforce Engineering Reference and Operational Procedure documents.
  • Promote and embed Design for Manufacture principles across all relevant functions.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • A degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive Engineering, or relevant high-level motorsport experience.
  • Prior experience in Formula One (or fast-paced motorsport) environment, with a deep understanding of engineering standards, design release processes, and configuration management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Project, and Word.
  • Familiarity with CAD and PLM systems (ideally CATIA 3DX & Enovia).
  • A detail-oriented, highly organised professional who thrives under pressure.
  • Confident communicator who can deliver to senior stakeholders.
  • A natural problem-solver, with a proactive and collaborative approach to continuous improvement.
  • Strong awareness and commitment to Health & Safety standards.
