We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Design Managers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering) for upcoming opportunities within our growing Water team as we move into AMP 8.
Our recent framework wins, including Welsh Water's Engineering Consultancy Framework, Southern Water's Professional Services Framework, and South West Water's Engineering Consultancy Framework, have strengthened our project pipeline. These projects span feasibility, detailed design, and construction phases across the UK & Ireland.
As a Design Manager, you will lead our multidisciplinary Water team, overseeing diverse projects for various Water clients. Your role will involve collaborating with Project Managers to manage technical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and innovative design solutions that impact water supply and treatment processes.
We offer flexible hybrid working arrangements across multiple UK & Ireland offices and support your professional development through further qualifications and certifications.
About you
You should hold a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field, with proven design management experience, preferably within the water industry. A passion for environmental sustainability, experience in project delivery, and collaboration are essential.
Membership in a relevant engineering institution (e.g., ICE) and experience in construction, heavy civils, or regulatory sectors are advantageous but not mandatory.
