A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd is recruiting an experienced Design Manager to join a major £400m+ mixed-use development in Bedfordshire. The role offers a long-term opportunity with a four-year programme, starting in pre-construction with travel to the London office before site relocation in Bedfordshire.

You will lead design coordination, ensure technical compliance and integrate procurement and buildability from feasibility through delivery, reporting to the project team with close client,

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in design management for-UK main contractor.
• Experience delivering large-scale construction or mixed-use development projects.
• Strong knowledge of pre-construction, design coordination, technical compliance and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the design process from pre-construction through to project delivery.
• Act as the key link between the client, design consultants and site team.
• Review drawings, specifications and technical information for accuracy, compliance and buildability.
• Coordinate external consultants and monitor performance against deliverables.
• Support procurement by identifying design requirements, risks and information deadlines.
• Ensure the design meets relevant regulations, standards, programme dates and commercial targets.
• Resolve design queries and maintain clear communication across the wider project team.
