Job summary

The Specialist Group, a dynamic family-led interior fit-out business, is looking to speak with experienced Design Managers or Senior Designers ready to take the next step up to Design Manager. This onsite role offers excellent environment and opportunities for exposure and development.

Key duties include leading design of projects, producing release schedules, agreeing milestones with the Project Director, ensuring timely and compliant drawings, and reviewing all drawings across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in design management or senior design roles aiming to progress to Design Manager.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead design of projects in line with agreed program
• Produce Drawing Release Schedule in sequence with program
• Agree design milestones required to meet client’s program with Project Director reporting back if milestones are at risk
• Ensure all drawings are completed on time and to required standard
• Review and check all drawings for each project
