Job summary

Walker & Sloan is recruiting a Design Manager for a major hyperscale data centre alliance Park project in Acton, West London. You will lead design delivery from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating consultants, designers and subcontractors to ensure buildable, compliant information is issued on time.

You should have proven experience on data centre or mission-critical schemes, strong knowledge of Building Regulations and CDM, plus a degree and relevant professional

Qualifications

• You are a Design Manager with proven experience delivering projects through both pre-construction and construction.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of programme and information flow.
• Experience on data centres, mission-critical developments or other technically complex projects would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery from pre-construction through to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage consultants, designers and specialist subcontractors and monitor the design programme.
• Lead design reviews, manage approvals and change control, ensuring regulatory compliance and buildability.
