Job summary

Locri Recruitment is seeking a Design Manager for predominantly site-based work across London, with one day per week in the Surrey office. The role focuses on design management and technical coordination for high-end workplace and commercial fit-out projects, collaborating with clients, contractors and consultants.

The ideal candidate will have strong UK high-end fit-out experience, proven design management or technical coordination background, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong UK high-end workplace and commercial fit-out experience is essential.
• Experience in Design Management, technical coordination or a similar position.
• A good understanding of construction, detailing and technical delivery.
• Confidence communicating with clients, contractors and consultants.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
• Looking to build long term client relationships.
• Revit experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design management and technical coordination for fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants and project teams.
• Take ownership of design outcomes across the construction process.
• Support development within a growing business.
