A leading top 10 main contractor has a great opportunity for a Design Manager to join them, based in their offices in Luton with weekly site visits.

They are open to taking somebody on a freelance or permanent basis, or freelance with a view to going permanent further down the line.

The company carries out new build, design and build, refurbishment, and regeneration projects across the UK, transforming communities and building attractive, affordable homes and neighbourhoods.

They are looking for a Design Manager that has strong all-around project experience, but new build residential experience is crucial as 90% of the work will be focused on residential projects and 10% on commercial projects. RC frame, Timber frame, and Traditional build experience is necessary, and the Design Manager will need to be fairly local to their Luton offices.

Responsibilities:

• Solid track record working for a reputable main contractor or developer
• New build residential experience is key; RC frame, Timber frame, and Traditional build
• Experience working on commercial projects
• MS Office & 4Projects experience
• Live within a 30 to 45min commute from Luton
