The Role - Design Manager

My client is looking to appoint a Design Manager to join their Design team; this can be a hybrid role between office, home, and sites.

You will ideally have 5+ years in cladding/facade, and it would be advantageous to have fire remediation experience.

• Design involvement of the project from conception to completion.
• Overseeing design stages, coordinating with architects, fire engineers, and other colleagues.
• Ensuring projects meet critical deadlines.
• Technical knowledge - understanding of fire safety regulations, cladding systems, and materials used in envelope cladding.
• Compliance - ensuring designs comply with relevant standards and regulations.
• Financial awareness - budget management, cost estimation, and value engineering.
• Leading a design team and mentoring others.

Salary - 65,000 - 85,000 (salary may be increased if you have remediation experience).
