Job Description

We are seeking a technically skilled Design Supervisor/ Junior Design Manager (Electrical Bias – Solar) on a permanent basis paying up to £64,000 based in Central London. This role will focus on delivering high-quality electrical design solutions across all stages of photovoltaic (PV) project development. This role involves both team leadership and hands-on technical responsibilities

This role will suit somebody looking to make a step up to Design Manager position with good experience within the solar industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute, review, and provide technical sign-off for electrical system designs
  • Prepare and approve project Bill of Quantities (BoQ) aligned with design requirements
  • Oversee electrical design across all PV development phases
  • Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, ensuring outputs meet project schedules and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience with international solar projects and clients ()
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and technical review skills
