Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking a Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design teams on large-scale data centre developments. You will guide projects from concept through construction, ensuring technical excellence and strong client collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination including MEP and building systems.

  • Coordinate design activities to maintain technical excellence at all stages.
  • Work with clients, consultants and delivery teams to shape solutions balancing performance, sustainability and commercial needs.

  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Design Management within the data centre, mission-critical, construction or building services sectors.
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination, including MEP and building systems.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships across clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams.
  • Excellent programme management, communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of data centre design standards, construction processes and project delivery methodologies.
