Job summary

Saxton Recruitment is seeking a Design Manager to lead design teams on Design & Build schemes across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. The role covers projects from £5m up to £25m, delivering quality, value and on-time performance with a trusted contractor.

You will coordinate with architects and engineers, manage client relationships and drive design delivery for challenging regional schemes, ensuring robust programmes and collaborative working practices.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Design & Build schemes.
• Ability to lead design teams and coordinate with architects.
• Track record on projects from £5m+.
• Client liaison and value engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Review the technical aspects of details put forward by architects and engineers.
• Coordinate changes with the Design team to ensure best value.
• Lead design team meetings and coordinate build process.
• Liaise with client and consultant throughout the project.
