MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen our Engineering team with a Design Manager for our Anglian Water region on the Cambridge relocation project. Based in the Peterborough & Cambridge area, with the design currently at outline status, you’ll manage the delivery of the final optioneering stage and detailed design for construction. You’ll ensure all technical outputs meet the project requirements within the agreed timescales and provide technical support during assembly as needed.
With a large team to lead, you’ll operate in a visible and supportive manner, being recognized as a Technical Engineering expert who can provide sound and constructive advice.
The Cambridge relocation project involves designing & building a modern, low-carbon wastewater treatment plant to serve the community and environment. This plant will recycle water and nutrients, produce green energy, and support the sustainable growth of Greater Cambridge.
Known as the Cambridge Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) Relocation Project, Anglian Water collaborates with partners including MMB & Skanska to deliver this significant opportunity. The relocation will free the current WWTP site for development into North East Cambridge, a new low-carbon city district with around 8,350 homes and 15,000 jobs planned over 20 years.
