We're looking for a talented and experienced person to join our team in Kingston upon Hull and to make a positive impact within our growing business. Managing the design process from pre-construction through to and including the construction phase for projects up to £30m.

Job Purpose:

Managing the design process from pre-construction to provide compliant, accurate, and timely design information using experience, knowledge, and technical expertise.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning all aspects of the project, identifying challenges, and bringing imaginative and cost-effective solutions.
• Working within current legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
• Eliminating health and safety and financial risks during construction.
• Ensuring a good flow of quality information to meet project timescales.
• Building solid relationships with stakeholders and maintaining open dialogue.

Experience:

• Understanding of traditional construction and Design & Build (D&B).
• Thorough understanding of CDM regulations.
• Knowledge of software such as BIM and 4Projects.

Candidate qualities:

• Ability to work well individually and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Understanding of alternative procurement methods including frameworks, negotiated tenders, and two-stage tenders.
