Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + package (Car allowance: 10% of annual salary, private health scheme, pension, etc.)

My client is a well-established Tier 1 Main Contractor with an office in Hertfordshire, currently managing several exciting projects in the Southern region. They are seeking a Design Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Support the design team across various sectors including Commercial, Public Sector, and Health.
• Contribute to design input during pre-construction and construction phases.
• Develop design programmes, scopes, responsibility matrices, appointments, and schedules.
• Attend and chair meetings and workshops with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
• Ability to manage projects, delivering quality work on time and within budget.
• Successful track record managing design of construction schemes over £10m.
• Relevant design or equivalent qualification.
