Job description

As a Design Manager, you'll be working within the Building Solutions North team, supporting them in delivering high-quality construction and refurbishment projects across the North of England.

1. Managing and coordinating the delivery of all aspects of design across pre-construction and construction phases
2. Leading the design team and supply chain to ensure timely and compliant information delivery
3. Supporting bid teams with optimal design and buildability strategies
4. Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations, Building Safety Act, and BIM standards
5. Collaborating with commercial and operational teams to align design with project goals

What are we looking for?

This role of Design Manager is ideal if:

1. You hold construction qualifications (minimum HND/HNC/T Level or equivalent)
2. You have experience working on refurbishment schemes up to £15m and knowledge of frameworks and two-stage tenders
3. You possess strong working knowledge of building regulations, Building Safety Act, and BIM processes (ISO 19650)
