Your new role

Working on projects in Cambridge and surrounding areas, they are looking for Design Managers to join their Cambridge team. As a Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes, improving buildability, and encouraging innovation across their projects. You will collaborate closely with industry specialists and the in-house technical team to ensure designs align with project briefs, maintaining a focus on value, compliance, commercial viability, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage a realistic design programme and information schedule to support design, procurement, and construction activities.
  2. Champion continuous improvement and innovation throughout the design process.
  3. Ensure all designs are reviewed and verified for compliance, health and safety, and buildability before construction begins.
  4. Identify and manage key risks and opportunities at each stage of the design and delivery process.
