The company:

Are you a Design Manager looking for a new role? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual in and around Milton Keynes to join a well-established and highly regarded Main Contractor. The company has a current turnover of £80 million, with a strong order book ahead. They are involved in new build and refurbishment projects within the Industrial and Commercial sector, with project values between £3m and £25 million.

The Role:

1. Manage and coordinate the design process, ensuring all designs are delivered to the highest standards, within budget and timescales.
2. Manage and mitigate design risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring designs meet client and stakeholder requirements, working closely with the Project Manager and Commercial team to ensure timely delivery within budget.
3. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on all design-related matters.

What we want from you:

• Previous experience as a Design Manager within the construction industry, preferably within the Industrial sector.
• Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Reside within a commutable distance from Milton Keynes.
