Our client, partnering with a Strategic Delivery Partner on the Southern Water AMP8 Infrastructure Framework, is currently seeking a Civils Design Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This role is vital for delivering major water infrastructure projects across the Southern Water region.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the design delivery of critical infrastructure schemes from concept through to delivery
  • Managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met
  • Ensuring compliance with technical standards, budget, and programme requirements
  • Overseeing the production of design documentation
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in civil engineering, specifically within the water sector
  • Strong knowledge of civil design principles and relevant software
  • Proficiency in managing multidisciplinary teams
  • Understanding of project management processes and technical standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
