Ridgeway & Co Recruitment is seeking a Design Manager for residential construction projects in Central London. This permanent, full-time role involves leading the design process from pre-construction through delivery and coordinating architects, engineers and designers to ensure timely submissions.

The role requires strong multi-disciplinary design coordination and the ability to manage external consultants, with a focus on regulatory compliance and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Design Manager with a main contractor.
• Residential or mixed-use construction experience.
• Strong understanding of architectural, structural and M&E coordination.
• Experience managing external design consultants.
• Knowledge of construction-stage design management and technical approvals.
• Relevant architectural, engineering or construction qualification preferred.
