Do you have experience as a Design Manager working in the building services industry? If yes, this job is for you. I am recruiting on behalf of a Cardiff-based client looking to expand their design team. This business manufactures a niche product and plays a vital role in the building services industry. As a Design Manager, you will manage a team of CAD Engineers and oversee design processes from conception to completion, liaising closely with Project Managers.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 4 CAD Engineers.
• Oversee design projects from conception to completion, working on multiple projects simultaneously in accordance with Project Managers' communication.
• Review technical documents to ensure design proposals and schematics meet client requirements.
• Maintain attention to detail and ensure designs comply with legislation and industry standards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Experience in a design role within the building services sector.
• Previous experience as a Design Manager and in people management.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and manage workload effectively.
