Do you have experience as a Design Manager working in the building services industry? If yes, this job might be for you! We are recruiting on behalf of a Cardiff-based client looking to expand their design team. This business manufactures a niche product and plays a vital role in the building services industry. As a Design Manager, you will manage a team of CAD Engineers and oversee design processes from conception to completion, working closely with Project Managers.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Manage a team of 4 CAD Engineers.
2. Oversee design projects from start to finish, managing multiple projects simultaneously in coordination with Project Managers.
3. Review technical documents to ensure design proposals and schematics meet client requirements.
4. Ensure compliance with legislation changes and industry standards in design projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a design role within the building services sector.
• Previous experience as a Design Manager with people management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and manage workload effectively.
