Company & Project: A successful Main Contractor operating in the Healthcare, Commercial, MOD, Mixed-Use, and Education sectors is seeking to recruit a Design Manager for a new project currently in the Pre-Construction stage. Work is scheduled to start on-site later in 2025. The project involves a New Build with a value exceeding £20m.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will oversee technical compliance and design management during procurement and monitor on-site design coordination.

We seek a process-driven individual with experience in both pre-construction design and live project design coordination.

• Experience as a Design Manager from early planning stages.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working for a Main Contractor.
• Knowledge of construction methodology, Design & Build contracts, single and 2-stage tenders.
• Previous roles may include Technical Manager, Assistant Design Manager, Design Manager, Design Coordinator, or Assistant Design & Build Manager.

Qualifications & Skills: HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
