Design Manager - Leading Main Contractor | Bristol

The Role

You'll work closely with the Regional Design Lead, managing the design process from pre-construction through to delivery on a range of high-profile projects — typically up to £80 million in value. Schemes include MOD developments, education projects (schools, colleges, universities), and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design activities across multiple projects
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to achieve design excellence
• Ensure design deliverables meet programme, budget, and quality targets
• Support pre-construction and bid teams on new opportunities
