Job Opportunity: Senior Creative (12-Month Contract)

I am seeking a brilliant senior creative professional to collaborate with a global entertainment platform. The ideal candidate will have FMCG product development experience, preferably in licensing, along with a background in brand partnerships.

Start Date: ASAP (can wait a few weeks for the right candidate)

Contract Details: 12-month contract, day rate (TBC), role inside IR35, requiring an Umbrella Company.

Location: Hybrid, 3 days in the London office, 2 days WFH.

Job Description:
  1. Be an integral part of the EMEA design team, focusing on food and beverage product development across all local markets.
  2. Collaborate with the brand partnerships team on cross-functional F&B initiatives.
  3. Manage freelancers and external agencies in creating creative tools such as mood boards and product mock-ups to guide product development from infant to adult.
  4. Partner with licensees to foster innovation and provide feedback from concept to final product approval, ensuring alignment with brand vision, design quality, and product integrity.
  5. Oversee and maintain product approvals efficiently through internal systems.
  6. Develop and sustain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Licensing, MSD, and Retail Marketing to support the brand vision.
  7. Coordinate with content creators, brand partnerships, BLA, creative marketing, and regional marketing teams to maximize strategic impact.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in leading creative vision for food and beverage product development, with experience in entertainment/licensed brands or retail.
  • Innovative mindset with a strong desire to think outside the box.
  • Self-motivated and capable of leading independently.
  • Continuous awareness of F&B trends and NPD, applying this knowledge to brand development.
  • Understanding of the European retail landscape and competitive brands.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and digital, with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors and agencies.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous.
  • Regional experience within EMEA.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential.
