Job summary

Forest Hill School in London seeks a Design and Food Technology Technician to support teaching and learning in the Design Technology department. The role covers ordering, preparing and maintaining equipment and resources for food and design technology classes.

The position is permanent, term-time only (38 weeks) with 27.5 hours per week, 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Start date October 2026, with a salary pro rata around £20.6k depending on hours and scale.

Qualifications

• Experience in ordering, preparation and maintenance of equipment for teaching food and design technology.
• Experience of working in a busy school technology department is advantageous.
• Term-time only role with school hours.
