Our Design and Engineering Team focuses on innovative, sustainable solutions that set new standards, exemplified at Battersea Power Station and Victoria Square. We are seeking a Technical/Design & Engineering consultant, internally called a Pavement Engineer.

Role Overview
With comprehensive training and support, you will utilize your stakeholder management and design skills to provide engineering and pavement design solutions. You will work closely with external sales teams and engage with clients such as landscape architects, engineers, contractors, authorities, and developers to deliver technical advice and build relationships.

Your responsibilities include balancing technical expertise with effective communication, creating technical proposals, delivering CPD presentations, supporting on-site issue resolution, and innovating new products and methods. Building a network within the engineering community is essential for sharing knowledge and developing new ideas.

If you have engineering experience with a passion for customer-facing roles or a technical sales background, this position offers a perfect blend of both.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a Technical Sales role, preferably in a related industry
  • Interest in engineering and design, with curiosity and passion
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Effective time management and proactive planning
  • Willingness to develop skills and advance your career
  • Civil Engineering degree or working towards relevant professional qualification; knowledge of standards like DMRB, BS 7533, SuDS manuals (CIRIA SuDS manual advantageous)
  • Full driving license and ability to travel across the South of England, ideally residing nearby
