Overview

Design Engineer (Tooling) – 40,000 - 45,000 + Progression + Overtime + Early Finish Friday

Llantrisant

Are you a Design Engineer or similar with a background in Tooling looking to join a growing manufacturing company who specialise in bespoke tooling for the Automotive and FMCG industries, who can provide a stable days based role with an early Friday finish and overtime to greatly boost take home pay?

On offer is the opportunity to join a stable manufacturing company who have been on operation for over 60 years specialising in the design, fabrication, and repair of tools, dies, and specialised equipment. They work with a variety of companies in the Food, Automotive and packaging industries.

This role involves creating cost-effective 3D tool designs, producing parts lists, and advising on materials and manufacturing methods. It includes contributing to R&D projects, attending technical meetings locally and internationally, and collaborating on larger team designs with quality oversight. The role also involves site visits for reverse engineering and installations, supporting global sales efforts, and working closely with manufacturing on tool development, assembly, and testing.

This role would suit a Tool Designer or similar looking to join a growing company who are taking on new exciting work in a number of different industries and can provide in house training and mentoring, progression opportunities and overtime that will boost earnings.
