Are you a Design Engineer with a background in Tekla, Advanced Steel, or AutoCAD, looking to step into a leadership role with a leading fabrication and installation specialist where you'll take full ownership of the design department, lead a growing team, and help drive an ambitious, fast-paced business forward through exciting, bespoke projects?

In the role, you will manage a team of five designers, lead design meetings, liaise with clients, allocate workloads, and produce and check design drawings using Tekla, Advanced Steel, or AutoCAD. You'll work closely with Project Managers, Fabrication, and Installation teams to ensure a smooth flow from concept to completion. The role is fully office-based in Luton, offering a sociable environment and the chance to make a real impact in a growing company.

The Role:

1. Manage and lead a design team
2. Produce and review technical drawings using Tekla / AutoCAD / Advanced Steel
3. Work closely with clients, project managers and site teams

The Person:

1. Experience in structural and/or architectural metalwork
2. Proficient in Tekla / AutoCAD / Advanced Steel
3. Based in Luton
